KW V5 Clubsport coilovers

The new 4-way adjustable KW V5 Clubsport offers state-of-the-art KW Solid Piston GT3 motorsport suspension technology for the most performance-oriented road vehicles equipped with sport tire setups for use on both the racetrack and the street. The complete suspension design of the KW V5 Clubsport coilover system, including its uniball mounts, is engineered specifically for the use of semi-slick tires on near-production vehicles.

KW Solid Piston Technology for Racetrack and Road

Unlike vibration dampers with conventional deflecting pistons, KW uses its proven motorsport-derived KW Solid Piston Technology (displacement piston design) for the KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension – the same technology homologated for race cars such as the BMW M4 GT3 and Porsche 911 GT3 R. The independently adjustable low-speed and high-speed compression and rebound valves are positioned separately from the damper’s inner tube and piston rod. As a result, the KW V5 Clubsport, with its adjustable KW SPCLH-A (KW Solid Piston Compression Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) compression damping and KW SPRLH-A (KW Solid Piston Rebound Low- and Highspeed Adjustable) rebound damping, offers significant performance advantages.

Even when attacking curbs, near-production sports cars remain safely controllable with the KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension. The height-adjustment options allow wheel load optimization. Together with the independently tunable compression and rebound damping technology (SPCLH-A and SPRLH-A), it enables custom setups tailored to vehicle weight, tire characteristics, different track layouts and conditions. Thanks to its multi-valve technology and official parts certification, the KW V5 Clubsport coilover suspension can also be used legally on public roads.
